Monique Waters
Monique views herself as an educator, an administrator and a life-long learner. In her 10 years as a teacher, she has taught in both rural and urban settings at three different school boards. With a focus on merging technology and environmental education, Monique attempts to involve students in authentic learning tasks and instil a love of learning. She is currently an Assistant Principal at a French Immersion Elementary school in Alberta.

Lisa Falconi
Lisa has been teaching elementary school in Ontario for 11 years. Her passion for technology and life-long learning has brought her to UBC where she is working on completing her Masters in Educational Technology. She is currently teaching grade 8 where she consistently integrates technology in her classroom.

Jakin Lam
Jakin has been an international educator for the past five years. He found his passion in technology and education while implementing various technology into his Mathematics and Music lessons. He has recently became a full time IT integrator. Working with leaders and teachers of the school, Jakin implements technology and provides training to teachers and administrators. While working with teachers can at times be like working with students, he enjoys the different dynamics and perspectives that he gets to see of a school.

Michael Grieve
Michael is a vice-principal at a public secondary school in Ontario. Prior to being appointed an administrator, he was the Head of Computer Studies and has always enjoyed learning and teaching with technology. As a graduate student in the MET program at UBC, Michael is focusing his professional learning on modern learning practices that support a blended learning environment for our students.
